Brown Palace Hotel Restaurant, circa 1910

Coauthors and historians Robert and Kristen Autobee enjoy exploring Colorado's history together.  Robert's ancestor Charles Autobees ventured to Colorado decades before the Territory's first chile relleno.  Robert's first published work on Denver's past, If You Stick with Barnum, is part of the Essays and Monographs in Colorado History series.

Kristen arrived in Colorado in the 1990s, and realized early on that Robert has good taste in restaurants - even the ones that looked scary.  They met over a very loud jukebox and then found a quieter restaurant to get to know each other.  They  research and write on topics as varied as mineral rights and architectural styles.
